This project features a custom-engineered 15×40m double-decker modular tent with an arched roof and extended eaves, specifically designed by our company to meet the demands of Saudi Arabia’s climate and the requirements for high-end outdoor events. The region is characterized by intense sunlight, high UV exposure, significant diurnal temperature fluctuations, and frequent sand and wind; consequently, outdoor tents must meet rigorous standards regarding structural integrity, weather resistance, fire-retardant ratings, and aesthetic quality. Drawing on years of experience in high-end international tent projects, we delivered a comprehensive solution—including a double-decker spatial design, an aesthetically pleasing arched structure, premium-grade materials, and end-to-end implementation services. The result is a high-performance, visually striking, and structurally secure multi-functional double-decker tent suitable for long-term outdoor use, perfectly tailored for high-end business events, receptions, exhibitions, and multi-level functional zoning.
1.Project Structure and Spatial Design Highlights
Integrated design combining a two-story structure, an arched roof, and an external overhanging eave. With overall dimensions of 15m by 40m, the layout is orderly and well-structured. The arched roof boasts fluid, imposing lines—offering a softer, more sophisticated aesthetic than traditional gable roofs—while delivering superior wind resistance, drainage, and debris-shedding capabilities. The dedicated external overhanging eave provides effective protection against sun, rain, and windblown sand, further enhancing suitability for outdoor environments. The two-story configuration significantly expands usable space, enabling a functional split between levels; areas such as reception, display, lounge, viewing, and workspaces can be flexibly arranged to meet the precise spatial requirements of high-end overseas events. Additionally, safety railings installed around the upper level ensure comprehensive safety, resulting in a structural layout that is compliant, aesthetically pleasing, and highly practical.
2.Core Materials and Safety Performance Advantages
To suit the outdoor environment in Saudi Arabia, the project utilizes a framework made of 6061-T6 high-strength, aerospace-grade aluminum alloy—a load-bearing material specifically chosen for premium tent structures. This material is lightweight yet strong and tough, offering exceptional resistance to wind, snow, compression, and deformation. It withstands extreme weather conditions over the long term and ensures superior structural stability, guaranteeing the tent’s safe and reliable operation. The exterior features high-quality white PVC fabric, which offers a range of superior properties: UV resistance, aging resistance, mold and bacteria resistance, and dust resistance (making it easy to clean). It is highly durable, resisting yellowing, embrittlement, and damage during prolonged use. Its flame-retardant performance strictly meets international standards, including NFPA 701 and DIN 4102 B1/M2. IV. Detailing and Visual Design To enhance the sense of openness and premium quality, the tent is fitted with custom transparent, patterned windows on all sides. These provide abundant natural light and expansive views while balancing privacy and aesthetics, ensuring a bright interior and an elevated overall look. Safety guardrails are installed on the upper level to eliminate fall hazards, ensuring the safety of the elevated space.
